You can delete your Behavior Access account at any time. The quickest way is in the app itself; you can also ask us by email. Either way, the account is closed and the personal information on it is erased as described below.
1. Delete it in the app
- Open the Behavior Access app and sign in.
- Open Profile (the last tab).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm with your second factor: the code sent to your email address, or your authenticator app if you enabled one.
Deletion takes effect immediately. You are signed out on every device and cannot sign in again.
2. Or ask us by email
Write to info@behavioraccess.com from the email address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may need to confirm that the request is yours. We close the account within 30 days and confirm by reply.
3. What is erased
- Your name, email address and telephone number.
- Your password, the phones you had signed in from, recovery codes and any authenticator enrolment.
- Your certification board credentials and numbers.
- Your country and any profile details you added.
4. What is kept, and why
Your attendance records (which sessions you checked in to and out of, and when) and any certificates already issued are kept without your name or any other identifier, for up to three years from the conference. A certifying board can audit continuing education credit years after it was issued, and the organizer must be able to show that the credit was valid. After you delete your account those records can no longer be connected to you.
Orders, payments and receipts are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, as our Privacy Policy explains.
